The Setup
Yes, I bought a second ultra-short-throw projector nine days after the first one. In my defense, the LTV-2500 is a triple-RGB-laser design with genuinely different strengths — better color volume, Active 3D support, and a build made to pair with an ALR (ambient-light-rejecting) screen — and I wanted to compare it directly against the Epson in the same room before deciding which one stayed long-term. It ships with a Fire TV Stick 4K Max since it has no built-in smart platform of its own.
The Review
Side by side, the color saturation from the triple-laser engine is the LTV-2500’s clear advantage — reds and greens in particular look noticeably richer than on the Epson. It’s dimmer on paper (2,500 lumens vs. 4,000), and that shows the moment there’s any daylight in the room, so this one’s staying in my mostly-blacked-out media room while the LS800 handles the brighter living room duty.
What I Liked

What I Didn’t
- Noticeably dimmer than the Epson in anything but a dark room
